Feu d'artifice

  1. Fireworks for the new year, way to go. I enjoyed your many explorations of flowers and especially the amaryllis, like the November 2012 series. Sketchbooks are so much fun. I saw some familiar sites in yours posted. Sometimes when I'm painting I play a CD that I got many years ago of Chinese music that I heard performed at the Jardin Botanique in your wonderful city. Great sketchbook posting of the banc des amoureux; I recall walking by it. I'd enjoy hearing from you if you'd like to email me directly, my email is on the blog. -Bruce

    1. Thank you Bruce for your kind comment.
Working in series like you are doing for the 30 paintings in 30 days is very interesting. We can see the change of the subject along with our own perception of it, At the same time, we are learning and improving!
Maybe I will began a series too, soon. It would be a great project for January.:)
