Un tigre dans la cour de grand-maman est ma contribution au 20ème jour du défi 30 peintures en 30 jours organisé par Leslie Saeta.

La cour de mon arrière grand-mère était toute petite. Un gros lilas, de jolies fleurs et des herbes folles lui donnaient un petit air de jungle...  et...  devenait pour moi le royaume de son gros chat tigré ! 

Je lis en ce moment un merveilleux livre de Julia Cameron: It's never too late to begin again. L'un des exercices suggérés dans ce livre est d'écrire ses mémoires.  Je suis stupéfaite par l'abondance des souvenirs qui surgissent, souvenirs parfois transformés par mon imagination d'enfant. 

Nous avons atteint les 2/3 du défi. Le temps passe vite...

What a lovely memory to have of your Great Grandmother. I am going to check out the book you have mentioned.       Twenty years ago, I read from the same author the Artist's way. Since then, I try to write 3 pages each morning and to do artist's date once a week... A good way to take care of myself and my creativity!
      I am sure you will enjoy one of these books !
